Absolutely unacceptable behavior from the manager at this Papa John’s. I went into the store to ask a simple and important question about allergy information, and instead of helping, the manager — Ben (I believe that was his name) — told me to “go search online,” in an extremely rude and dismissive way.
When I calmly asked why he was talking to me like that, his response was “I’m the boss. If you want to complain, go make a complaint about me. Nothing will happen.” That alone shows a shocking level of arrogance and disrespect toward customers. To make it even worse, he then refused to serve me at all.
This wasn’t a complicated request. Allergy information is a basic customer safety issue, and the way it was handled was hostile, unprofessional, and honestly concerning. No one should be treated like that for asking about allergens.
If this is how management behaves, I have zero confidence in this location. I will not be returning, and I strongly warn others to avoid dealing with this store.
This manager shouldn’t be at Eastgrinstead anymore He should be sacked immediately from this store
